Jenny K. Hong

Biography:

Jenny Kim Hong is a business litigation associate with Garcia & Gurney, located in Pleasanton, California. Over the past 10 years of her practice, she has represented high technology companies, start-ups, insurance companies, professional business entities and retail clients in a wide range of litigation matters. While she focuses her practice on business disputes including real estate, leasing, construction, collections, employment, unfair business practices, business ownership, and claims of banks and financial institutions, she also works on corporate transactional and intellectual property matters.

In addition to her attorney license, Ms. Hong currently holds a California Real Estate Broker’s License and a California Property and Casualty Broker’s License. She is also a certified Arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau.

Ms. Hong earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree from University of California at Davis and her law degree from the University of San Francisco, School of Law, where she served as Admissions Committee Chair and as Vice President of Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.

Ms. Hong was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1998. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Northern District of California. Professional memberships include the California State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Contra Costa County Bar Association, and the Asian American Bar Association.

Ms. Hong is active within the community, serving on the Legislative Committee for the San Ramon Valley Council, as well as serving as Vice President of Legislative Advocacy on the executive board of the PTA. She works as a volunteer with young children and is an active member of her church.
