Ginny Cascio Bonifacino focuses her practice on analyzing clients' issues and creating strategies to address them in the areas of business, employment, intellectual property, and artists' rights law. She typically represents privately held small and mid-size businesses, entrepreneurs, restaurants, benefit corporations, government contractors, artists, and creative professionals.
Prior to joining Garcia & Gurney, Ms. Bonifacino worked at the law firm McMillan Metro, P.C. in Maryland, and with the President of the Chicago History Museum and General Counsel of the National Endowment of the Arts in Washington D.C. on a variety of business, employment, and intellectual property issues. She also worked as an extern for Judge Glenn T. Harrell of the Maryland Court of Appeals and Judge Richard Cudahy of the United States Court of Appeals Seventh Circuit.
While in law school at DePaul University in Chicago, Ms. Bonifacino earned a Certificate in Intellectual Property: Arts and Museum law. She advised clients on copyright and trademark issues through the DePaul University Technology/Intellectual Property Clinic.
Joining Garcia & Gurney from the Washington, D.C. area, Ms. Bonifacino is happy to call the San Francisco Bay area home.
