Prior to joining Garcia & Gurney, Ms. Allard worked as a legal intern in both Stockton and Sacramento. Her focus was on business law, employment law, and trial and appellate practice. Ms. Allard has worked on various civil cases in a wide range of business related matters. She was also selected for the Business Internship which focused on business, tax, and corporate matters. In this internship Ms. Allard assisted in forming several for-profit and nonprofit entities and drafting the required formation documents.
Ms. Allard earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Political Science from Pennsylvania State University where she graduated cum laude. She earned her law degree from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law where she graduated with Distinction. While in law school, she was a law review editor for the McGeorge Law Review. Ms. Allard was also an Honors Board Member and competitor on the Moot Court Team where she coauthored the second-place brief for the Regional New York National Competition and received the first-place oral award. As a member of the Moot Court team she also received the Outstanding Individual Achievement in Oral Advocacy award from the Roger J. Traynor California Moot Court Competition and is inducted into the Order of Barristers.
Ms. Allard was also a teaching assistant and instructed students on legal research and writing appellate briefs. She received honors through the Mock Trial program and maintained Dean’s List Honors throughout law school.
