Mr. Mojaddidi is in Garcia & Gurney’s transactional group. He has been admitted to practice in the United States District Court – Northern District of California, and advises employers and employees on compliance with California employment law. Prior to joining Garcia & Gurney, Mr. Mojaddidi worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Mark Pietrykowski of the Ohio Sixth District Court of Appeals. During this time, he conducted research on a wide range of criminal and civil matters. Mr. Mojaddidi additionally worked as a legal intern at several local law firms.
Mr. Mojaddidi earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with minors in English and Philosophy from Chapman University. He earned his Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law. During his second year of law school, Mr. Mojaddidi was a competitor for his school’s Moot Court Jessup International Law Appellate Team, where his team reached the semifinals of oral arguments for the U.S. Midwest Regional which took place in Chicago, Illinois. During his third year of law school, he switched teams and became a competitor for his school’s Moot Court Criminal Procedure Appellate Team, where he co-authored the first-place petitioner brief at the John J. Gibbons Criminal Procedure Moot Court Competition (over 60 ABA law schools attended) which took place in Newark, New Jersey. Mr. Mojaddidi was the Student Bar Association Vice President of his law school.
Mr. Mojaddidi was published in Baldwin’s Ohio Practice, Tort Law 2d. In this work, he wrote case briefs on numerous Ohio tort law cases throughout the year of 2015 and worked under the supervision of Christopher Ernst.
Mr. Mojaddidi enjoys spending time with his family, being in the gym, lifting weights, and playing basketball. Aside from English, he is fluent in Dari and Farsi.
